Can you use the Hawkeye Aquariums AquaView 360 Aquarium Kit for salt water fish?
Can you use the Hawkeye Aquariums AquaView 360 Aquarium Kit for salt water fish? Is it an okay starter tank? I want to get it as a christmas present for my 6 year old? Are salt water tanks hard to manage?
Too often we fall in love with the idea of an aquarium in our home
I am guilty as charged and I think you may be too. A saltwater tank is not the right place for a newbie to start let alone a 6 yr old.
I’m sure your child loves fish aquariums and that is great but if you are starting out and are serious I recommend a lager tank as this would allow for a higher margin of error and I would recommend going with a freshwater system.
Saltwater fish are a lot more sensitive to changes in temperature and water chemistry and do not adapt to new conditions easily.
I hate to rain on your parade like this but when it comes to fish tanks the most important thing is the health of your pets not how cool they look.
